Sent in my E-QIP back in June, sent an email a week ago with CBPO saying “please be patient and we will get to yours soon”. How long should I anticipate?

Applied on my birthday (May 31st) and took the test a week later. Passed and then sent in my E-QIP end of June. I know this can take upwards to a year and longer but is this normal usually at this stage?
I also started working at CLEAR (short cut security for people at the airport) so I am learning beginner homeland security. Maybe this will look good at the interview?
