How does the Cheddar Shredder work relative to its/your level?

I don’t quite know how to phrase this. Does the money that drops from throwing a Cheddar Shredder change or scale based on damage output or player level. Will a low level Cheddar Shredder make enemies drop higher value money if the player level is high? Like the way containers do? Or is it tied to the damage output of the grenade based on its level? Is the Cheddar Shredder good for money farming for the entire game? Does anyone know the actual me hanics of this grenade, has it been tested?
