Im over thinking it and I need to choose who to play as

Ill be real, none of the characters in BL3 stand out to me as interesting. I played moze once, she was fun. Not much to say about her personality.
Zane seems kinda dull, amara seems boring and flak seems complicated
Should I give zane a real shot? Maybe jump to a dlc to get those levels so the beginning idnt boring?
Or is moze with the baby bear bot worth playing?
