Has anyone ever had luck with the Nike Strike soccer balls?
I just purchased 2 & neither hold air. Not in a "Oh, it goes flat in 2 weeks & I expect longer" sense. I mean I inflate it & air starts audibly rushing out of the valve stem immediately. It's unusably flat in about 30 seconds.
Since I already opened them, Dick's won't take them back as a return. (Edit- I just got back from returning them, they DID take them! I just assumed they wouldn't because of the wording on their return policy.)
I'll be contacting Nike today once their support is open to find out if they'd be able to. My fear is at best, they'll just exchange them for new ones of the same ball. Which I've had a 100% failure rate on so far.
Granted, I could just be extremely unlucky & got the 2 bad ones in a whole sea of good ones.... But it'd be very unlikely.
I know it's only $35, I'm not expecting the same performance/longevity/touch of a $100 ball. But expecting it to hold air for an entire game is the bare minimum to be a working product. However, it's managing less than 30 seconds. Does ANYONE out there have a Nike Strike that actually works? Or should I just stop wasting my time & consider this a ~$80 loss for trusting a normally reputable brand?
