Hi guys!

My wife, kid and myself moved down from MD a couple years ago and we miss the snow. I heard it snows up in Boone and reading through the post on here is seems it does snow out there. Is it safe to drive out there today or tomorrow so my daughter could play with some snow?

Update:

We ended up going yesterday. We left the triad area at about 1330L and got to Boone at about 1500L. We came via 421. The drive wasn’t bad but after reading lots of the comments I was extra careful. The roads were clean up until we got downtown and there was much slosh and snow. We hung around for about 2hrs and headed back. It was cold and it felt cold!

It was a great experience!
