There was a book series around the same time that twilight became popular. About vampires too. It's not Crave, the house of night series, any Laurel K Hamilton books, vampire academy, vampire diaries, Charlene Harris, blue bloods, Morganville Vampires, before dawn, or JR Ward.
All I remember is it's a vampire family and a human and she starts to fall for one guy but the other guy is actually her mate (or whatever they call it) but she fights the bond or whatever because she really likes the first guy. I think it was a trilogy.
