Looking for books about interesting philosophical romance books that also men could enjoy;

As I mentioned, I'm looking for books about romance with philosophical aspects. Since I'm male, I don't enjoy it to be super romantic. The book can be about conversations between two people or two people spending romantic time together. Bonus: It would be great whenthe book is set in the summer. Edit: I messed up the title. I'm not looking for books about romance books. I want nice romance books.
