Would really love any suggestions of books for a 13 year old girl. I am an avid reader but I am very stumped as to what books are good for young teenagers without being too inappropriate. As in the title, I know she enjoys those types of books and stories.
I was thinking Hunger Games or Maze Runner but cannot remember how mature or violent they are.
Thanks :)
Edit: Thank you all so much for your suggestions! I can't believe how many great book ideas you have all given me. I think I am set for every Christmas and Birthday gift for her teenage years :)
For anyone that cares, I have narrowed down the list to the below and now just have to choose:
- Hunger Games
- The Dark Materials Trilogy
- Artemis Fowl
- Skyward by Brandon Sanderson
- The Song of the Lioness by Tamora Pierce
- The Divergent series
- Maze Runnner
- Or one of the many Terry Pratchett books that were suggested!
