Nonfiction on the history of Westerns

Post Body
I'm hoping someone might be able to suggest a couple of fun but informative nonfiction books on the history of Westerns (like the TV shows), particularly in the ~1950s-1980s or even through the early 2000s.
I'm looking for an interesting book to get my grandma, and she and my grandpa used to watch a lot of them during that timeframe. Even better if it's a physical book that can be purchased in large print, but something with a digital (Kindle) version would also work.
Thanks!!
