Books to get lost in
Post Body

I'm currently reading Project Hail Mary, and I love it. I have a lot going on in my life right now, and it's been a nice distraction and story to get lost in. Unfortunately, I'll be done with it in a day or two. I have the next 6 weeks off, so I need a few more books to keep me busy.

I enjoy sci fi, but not anything too heavy on fantasy or world building. I love Octavia Butler, her creativity always sucks me in.

I also like mystery like Gillian Flynn's books. I like the darkness and psychology of her writing.

Memoirs about people overcoming challenges. I read a piece of a cake a couple months ago. Her story was incredible. I really liked Glass Castle, In the Dream House, Educated and I'm Glad My Mom Died.

I know these are three very different genres, but these are the three that tend to give me that lost in the story feeling. Tell me about the books that have done that for you.
