Which I could read like a kid again

Hello. I find it very difficult to stop caring about my inner voice. I used to visualize a lot when I was a kid but now, I mainly just see and hear words and my tongue is also saying each word. I just hear every word like im reading out loud and I don´t even like my reading voice. I think im missing the true essence of the story and get very conscious of my inner voice. I wish I could get into books like I used to.
What is your story? If you have an explanation for this I would be very glad to read it!
