Banned books?
Post Body

Hey /r/books!

I have been reading articles for the past few days over here on /r/ books and there seems to be a recurring theme of these "banned" books in the US. Now I am just a student over in the UK but I find it hard to believe books like 1984 and A Clockwork Orange are banned.. please tell me I am missing something?

Ps: I have read both of the books mentioned above, and find it disgusting that someone could suggest people shouldn't be allowed to read them!
