Ignoring the communication difficulties, if you had a group of homo sapiens without any technology willing to assist you, what books would you want to have with you to get back up to the modern era as fast as possible?
Anatomy books to help with medicine, or instructions for smelting and forging metals like copper or steel. Tips to build an electric generator, formulas for wireless communication, and even aerospace technologies.
Could you get early humans into space by the end of your lifetime? Extra points for less books brought. I don't want to have to move the entire Library of Congress; moving matter through space-time is expensive!
