In the link above, I highlighted a term that I am uncertain of and there is no further description in the book for me to base what the meaning of this may be. It may be a cultural difference that I may not be understanding. Can anyone help me out with what Leek did in this passage?
Edit: after reading it again, it sounds like he may just be taking out all the drinking paraphernalia to the curb? I’m confused because it says “two black miners” out to the curb, but they live in a miner scheme, so does he mean to say that he “punched” two people for being in the house? I’m sure this is a no-brainer for most of you lol
