Lately, I have been rereading some of the most memorable romances I have read since I started reading and I fell upon one of the best romances ever.

This story stars Theresa and a delicious Italian devil, Alessandro. The story showcases a troubled marriage on its last leg, divorce. I love when romances are set in marriage or around it because I think they make for the strongest romances. You feel the tension when it’s set around marriage because just like divorce, marriage is messy.

It begins after an amazing sexy time between the couple, Alessandro ending with a haunting phrase that destroys any ounce of affection for the heroine. Theresa surprises him when she announces she wants a divorce. This begins the tantalizing tension between the two as they traverse through there worst.

It then introduces my next favorite romance setting, pregnancy. Alessandro has been wishing for a son day in and day out. It increases the tension between them because they have great chemistry, awesome sex, but it’s only for this baby. Initially, Theresa is unaware of the reasoning behind her husbands attitude and behavior but she soon finds out and all hell breaks loose!

I love how balanced the fiction and realism is in this story. You can feel these real issues in a real marriage but feel it even more with the bits of fiction added to it. I think it holds up well to this day and is a fun dip out of reality.

I don’t want to spoil too much so if you’re looking for a dramatic marriage romance then this is for you.
