Hey there everyone! This is my first time posting on here, and I was really excited when I found out about it! (Saw a crosspost on r/wtf discussing Marian Engel's book "Bear." Going to get that at the library today as well as the April book of the month.)
Historical fiction is my favorite genre, and I would love to get some suggestions. I'll post a few of my favorites below. I'm studying African Studies in school, so anything taking place in Africa would be great!
Favorites: - Anything Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie - Hemingway (The Sun Also Rises, To Have and Have Not, A Moveable Feast) - George Orwell (Burmese Days, Down and Out in Paris and London) - Nervous Conditions by Tsitsi Dangarembga - Siddhartha by Herman Hesse
