None of them are perfect, especially the labels, but I figure they were good learning experiences and the labels are easy enough to replace in the future if I feel the need haha. Spines and corners are made with cork leather - loving this material. I’ve been increasing the width of the hinges to account for the thickness of the cork leather and that’s been a big help for book opening, but so far I do think this is working best for thicker books. Additionally, I think I’ve found a solid method for building up the cover board to match the cork leather once the spine is adhered: around three pages of standard cardstock seems to build it up more than enough to be barely noticeable.
