Gifts for Neighbors

I have a flock of 12 backyard chickens so obviously a plethora of eggs. I’m thinking about bringing a few dozen to share with camping neighbors or anyone that wants them, really. They don’t have to be refrigerated because they are farm-fresh. Is this a good idea or not so much?
