This will be my 1st Roo. What are your “must haves” in centeroo, and how do you like to carry your stuff?

Post Body

Hey all! First time Roo attendee this year. Actually, my first music festival, period. So, I am starting from scratch with my accessories/supplies. I’m trying to decide how to best invest my money in gear for Roo, while also thinking about it lasting for future festivals/camping. Things I would love to hear from your experience…

  • What are your “must haves” going into centeroo for the day?

  • What is your ideal bag/carrying strategy and why?

  • Also, since you’re here, any general advice you think a first time Roo attendee could benefit from, is welcome!

Seems like all I hear about are the lunchbox hydration packs. I have looked at them, they are a bit pricey, but I’m willing to fork the money out if it is worth the investment. Those of you who have started with different brands and migrated over to lunchbox, what is it that makes them so much better?

FYI, current things on my list to bring into centeroo: - water - sunscreen - phone - anti theft phone leash (clutch loop? Open to reccs) - chapstick - hat/visor - sunglasses - snacks (????) - solar powered phone charger - sun shirt/pullover for nighttime (open to reccs on this as well)

***EDIT to include additions so far: - sunscreen LOTION (not spray) - hand sanitizer - baby wipes!!! - bandana - ear plugs (loops???) - meds (advil/goodys/allergy stuff) - foldable blanket (share a locker with my groop)

TIA for any advice you have to give and for taking the time to read!
