This is from a personal pet who passed from old age, so I know the species is definitely an adult female Rubber Boa. Unfortunately my defenses didn't work and some type of animal took most of her body after I put it out for insect processing. I was able to find some vertebrae and ribs left behind along with this, but I'm not sure what this bone is.
I first thought vertebrae but it looks very different from the others, maybe from the spot where the head connects? Would love to know if anyone can tell me.
Whatever it is it'll be kept with her other remaining bones in her favorite hiding rock, which I plan to paint an image of her on ♡
