I tried to save a flea infested, anemic opossum this morning but she sadly passed away, warm and cozy on blankets and a heat mat in my bathtub. I am not able to deflesh her at all, I just don't have it in me, but I would like to try my hand at articulation if possible. I know maceration would probably be my best bet to avoid losing parts, but I already have one project going on my shared porch and it reeks. My apartments have a small wooded area behind them, how could I go about securing her outside (cheap and low profile) until she's more ready for maceration? Get as deep as possible so an upside down bucket wouldn't be visible from the tree line?
