I was working at a jobsite in New England and found a burried gun and bones.
My buddy and I were doing foundation repair in the basement of a clients home and had moved onto the last of the project which was to dig out around the old basement windows to install new escape windows. I was digging out one window when I found an old gun. It was really neat, I wanted to clean it up and identify it better, but I was just shocked I found a gun and it started sprinkling so I was just ready to finish the windows and leave. I then found a small femur tip looking bone which got me to stop and reanalyze the situation. My buddy was digging the 2nd window out less than 4 feet away and found a bigger bone 🤷♂️
We joked around saying it could have been connected to Whitey Bulger, but if it was possibly my family member in a missing persons case that was unsolved, I would want some closure, so despite wanting to just finish the job and leave, we notified the police.
The police came by, talked with us about 15 minutes, took the gun, and threw out the bones.. Yall think this looks like human remains?
