I have some treasuries maturing today (or maybe tomorrow), and I am trying to figure out where to reinvest the proceeds. These funds are part of an overall 65/35 portfolio assest allocation, where 35 is fixed income. I also currently holding $FTBFX, $PYLD, and $STIP. During the recent rapid rise of rates I got turned off to bond funds and ETFs, and instead, started buying individual bonds, with the plan of holding them to maturity......but I am not sure that is the best approach vs. a fund or ETF.
Any thoughs on where to re-invest the proceeds? Should I just buy some new treasuries? Invest in one of my existing ETFs or Fund, or look a new fund?
