I don't understand the obsession of women with white/flair complexion in TFI and Telugu states. When did this start? Why we don't see many actress from our states? Why we always TFI end up casting Shetty's, Bhatia's and Agarwals from other states and up north?

Personally I have grown aversion towards TFI casting women with unrealistic smooth and silky white skin in too many movies, Tamannaah is beautiful but feels very out of place in half of the south movies.
On the other side, More than half of my female friends are going through the phase of seeking validation, putting themselves through hell to live up to unrealistic perfect smooth and silky fair skin. Many feel they are not valued or not worthy enough to be loved because of their complexion and physique. Many trying to get laser hair removal treatment.

The unrealistic worship of woman in movies are also affecting women, In five instances my female friends and dates shared that they felt undervalued in their previous/current relationship cuz' they don't get the same attention from their boyfriends. Few off them sought therapy too.

I was also heavily criticized by many of my female and male friends whenever I ran behind/dated/thirsted over a dusky or dark complexion woman. I am tired of hearing "She is fit, kala undi kani, dusky unnadi, you deserve someone better/you can do better, cover the face and fuck the base." I don't take them seriously but the constant chatter whenever I thirst over or simp about to a brown woman, it just gets into my head and I feel so irritated.

One of my close buddy went so far stating that I am into brown woman because my confidence is low to get a white girl/white complexion woman or it's just that my mom was dusky and that's the reason I was thirsting over brown women. Only if I had the opportunity to kick him in his butt and lecture about boundaries, I just left that place with pity on his mindset and his way of lookin' at things and I hated myself for befriending someone with a cheap mindset. Again, if I will axe everyone cuz of this behavior I will be alone :'). The kind off world I am living in! Heartbreaking!
