The pin markers you get from Warlord are beyond awful I think most people agree, so I've been working on a replacement. I also like having unit cards on the table, which while perhaps a little less aesthetic, make it so much easier to reference information at a glance.
I did a design awhile back which was nice, but very bulky so I took a stab again and am pretty happy with this result. The pin markers portion is a small rotating disk with a space above to seat the activation dice so they are kept together. There is a small slot on the back where you can insert a unit card, although it is also useful for slips noting things like immobilization or loss of an NCO.
