Thoughts on Adapting/Creating Scenarios to Work for a Grand Melee/Battle Royale (3+ players)
Post Body

I mostly play with a group of friends, and end up doing either 1v1, 2v1, or 2v2, depending on who is around and interested on a given weekend.

Team games can be fun, but they also can feel a little lacking with one player kind of just being second-fiddle to the other who takes 'lead'. I'd like to give a try to 1v1v1 or 1v1v1v1 to liven things up, but obviously the game isn't quite designed for that with no scenarios specifically created for it.

Has anyone had success playing games that way and if so what scenario(s) did you use and how did you modify them?

The main thing I would want to head off is ganging up or temporary alliances, so really find ways to incentivize against that. What immediately comes to mind would be varying the value of order dice removals... so if I completely wipe a unit from Player A, I get 1 pt for that die. But the next die would vary depending on who I wipe. Another nit from player A is worth 1 pt, but if I remove an order die from a different player, then I would get 2 pts for that die. For any game type where you're getting points for die, it would ideally encourage trying to focus across the front rather than wiping out just one player.

Anyone else have thoughts or suggestions on what works, and what doesn't?
