Middle-of-the-road cinema has become a dying genre, which is your favourite movie or actor from the genre?

Post Body

Recently Ranvir Shorey said he always wanted to do middle of the road cinema which is essentially a genre that is halfway between art house and commercial masala movies. That made sense to me because him, Vinay Pathak and Neha Dhupia have probably done these movies more than anyone in 2000-2010s. I feel like such stories and roles stay with us longer. Which is your favourite from this genre?
