Been wanting a tongue split for years but the biggest hurdle is my parents finding out
Post Body

** sorry long first post!

I know this fear isn't uncommon when people get body mods. I'm planning on getting my tongue split when I'm back out for University and am more independent.

I have money saved up and set aside for it since I've saved funds (in general) for years. Even though it's my personal savings that do not affect my tuition/travel/living expense I still feel guilty since I haven't had a job. Other than that and worrying about healing, my biggest issue actually is my parents finding out.

I'm not sure how I'd deal with my parents / hiding it from them (though I feel it's inevitable and someday they'll find out). I've done some digging and a lot of people say it's actually not that noticeable unless someone is really observant. But I guess I also need advice & validation on how to even explain this sort of thing to my traditional Chinese parents lol.

I finally found someone who does it in Ontario Canada who has a studio 💓 has amazing records and certificates. it was a bit hard to find an artist who didn't tour / travel, or else I'd have to go out of the country probably
