Hey guys, I'm new here. Id like some advice on post injury atrophy.

I've been body building for about 10 years. I stand 5'11, 84kg and about 10-12% BF. 3 days ago I broke my pelvis doing a trick on a snowboard and I'm 100% bed ridden for about 4 weeks with recovery as long as 16 weeks. (The pain is something fucking else I can tell ya).

How long will it take until I start losing strength and size? Do I keep eating a lot to maintain my weight? Should I still drink my protein shakes etc? Will my strength come back quickly/and after how long? I've worked so hard to get to this physique and it's stressing me out that I'll lose all of it in a matter of weeks and I'll have to start all over again. Sounds like a noob question but I've never really looked into post injury stuff before. Thanks heaps
