This is absolutely worth a watch through. Whole show. Dylan looks like he's throwing up in his mouth as the band propels him through the opener, Jokerman, anchored by who else, Tony Garnier, and despite Dylan looking several times—throughout the song and throughout the whole show! like he might want to run off and hide somewhere and take a shit. He so doesn't care and it's so obvious throughout. HE. ALMOST. HIMSELF. ruins it. But the band keeps him in it. Insisting with their groove. You see him decide all the way into Watchtower, ok, I'll do this. So, on It Takes a Train, he tries. I think several verses are him trying to figure out, what's authentic here? And by God, in the line just before he blows the harp he figures it out. ONLY 4 songs in. 🤷🏼♂️ And yet it's still bad ass. It's hilarious. It's like he's trying to make it horrible with his vocal fits, but the band is too brilliant, and jams him into looking like it's all just more genius Dylan phrasing. Garnier was like a tough boxing coach. You want me to hit you harder? Ok Bob, I'll hit you harder.
