Citric acid yes, citric acid no.
Post Body
Some time ago, a fellow boater advised me to fill the water tank with a 10% citric acid solution, let it act for 12 hours, and then empty the tank. This should help to remove lime scale deposits from the tank. My tank is made of aluminum and I've read that aluminum is sensitive to citric acid, so I find myself at a dead end. Does anyone have experience with this issue? Thanks for the help.
