Oil Pressure

I have a 1989 Stingray SVB 172 SS with the 3.7 Mercruiser. Running 25W-40 marine oil I'm getting around 50-60 psi of oil pressure at cruising speed at operating Temps (150-160*F). I bought it used with unknown hours on the engine. I was expecting better with such a heavy oil. I know it's definitely not low enough to cause any damage but it just seems low for such a heavy weight oil.
