I have the plans for Redmond's Whisp, which I never got around to. Now I have a place to build again, but it's pretty clear that two of us aren't really going to fit into the Whisp. I'd like something that is right for the area, but pretty fast and inexpensive to put together. This is pretty simple: https://www.clcboats.com/shop/boats/wooden-sailboat-kits/Jimmy-Skiff-II.html but ugly and doesn't seem traditional. This looks more right https://www.clcboats.com/shop/boats/wooden-sailboat-kits/johns-sharpie-wooden-sail-boat-plans.html but has extra sails.
Maybe a sharpie set with one mast forward, some kind of sprit rig, and a couple of rowing stations. I don't know. There should be something that's not too fussy in the open work boat domain. Not that I can't build as fancy as I want, it's the time and expense!!
Thanks much for any suggestions.
