Chesapeake deadrise might be a good choice for a big build with our training organization. I've only worked on smaller boats, but we have a 30 ft sail/power vessel built. We have sailing boats, but fickle wind, presenting scheduling conflicts. Deadrise is traditional enough and simple enough to pass muster, in my view.
I'm not at all sure where to start. We have a designer available, but if something already exists, would be good. Capacity of at least 10, 12 people better. Forward cuddy useful, gives that distinctive look. We don't need to carry cargo. Probably need something we can do in a year or two.
Just at the conceptual stage, but I'm already out of my depth. Other traditional Maryland through South Carolina models to look at?
