So I just bought a baby rainbow a couple of weeks ago. The shop owner told me that she’s very similar keeping wise to my Ball, so I didn’t really hesitate. I’ve got her in a 3x3x2 glass with mesh top now, using CHE’s for heat, a mix of coconut fiber and forest floor for substrate, and a water bowl bigger than she is because they said she was often found soaking. That being said, I can’t get her to eat, and she’s super feisty. She’s tagged me and my partner a couple of times now, and even with multiple hides seems to stay buried. Is this a case where I should just leave her be for awhile to get acclimated? Should I move her to a smaller enclosure to help her feel safer? Is this normal?
