How early did you guys get set up?

So I’m in the process of tallying up all the things I need to buy and get ready for my first pet noodle and I was curious how early on you guys set everything up and sort of just monitored everything? Like did you set up all the heating and such a month in advance to monitor everything and make sure it all worked correctly?

Personally I’m planning to get everything set up by the end of December so that when I’m back from vacation in January I can secure the animal themselves.

Sorry if that was a rambling but any advice would be appreciated!
