With season 3 of Tabletop underway, I thought it would be a good time to put forth some ways that the show could be improved upon for future seasons. This discussion isn't a Tabletop game wishlist, but rather ways that the show could be made into a better product.
The reason I bring this up is that the show is quite popular. You see, he seems to have hit on a nice friendly format that lots of people like, with the result that many more people are entering the hobby! People I never expected, let alone wanted, are becoming gamers and all with these simplistic gateway games he's always touting.
I really want to feel superior to the non-gamer muggles, and it's getting increasingly difficult to do that when Wheaton's obviously winning formula is bringing gaming to the great washed.
So, let's have a discussion on how to make Tabletop cater more to the hobby gamer, so that the non gamers won't be nearly so interested in trying games out.
That's all for now! Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has to say!
