Bgg carry bag and backpack, padded?

Hello fellow bggs, I am starting to look at getting a board game bags for game nights. Question, for those that have gotten the bgg carry bag and backpack, aka this guy: https://boardgamegeekstore.com/collections/storage/products/bgg-carry-bag-and-backpack, are the interior walls padded for the protection of game boxes? How is your overall experience with it so far?
I am also looking at board game table bag, which is a bit more pricy but seems to be generally well received.
