I recently bought a copy of WiF and I am very excited to finally play it! Two friends are brave/stupid enough to also give it a go. So we're going to play Guadalcanal. But I have a question about the units that arrive later in the scenario.

Presumably on the Order of Battle table you receive the units listed in for example the July/Aug row. But it doesn't say WHERE they need to be placed, so can you place them anywhere you want in your home or occupied territory?

Second question, am I correct that the WiF Naval column is replaced by the SiF Naval column if playing with that expansion?

This scenario seems to give Japan a lot more ships and units than I would have expected. Though I haven't examined the counters in detail so maybe the Allies have better ships to compensate.

I find production about the most complicated element of this game so far. I'm glad I don't need it for this scenario.
