Hey all.

Last year I threw together a list of things gamers want need for their games and it went over quite well. This year I'm taking a different spin and highlighting some fellow crafty gamers that can be found over on Etsy. People tend to think of Etsy as a place to go find $200 scarfs and $6k stumps...but really there is sooooo much more there. This year Searching "Boardgames" (filtered to the US) dropped 1,100 results! Wow! Lets take a look at a few.

• Terraforming Mars is arguably one of the hottest games out there right now. It is also the one game in all the world in desperate need of organization! Check out GameUp! This guy has not only nice player boards, but some pretty dope 3D tiles! (Fortnite Dance)
• Your going to see a trend...and that trend is 3D printing. If you don't get that printer for Christmas, or if Nana gets you weedeater string instead of the filament needed cause the guy at Lowes said it would work...I digress. BGHQ is be a great place to find bits for all the games you never knew you wanted bits for! Brass, Gloomhaven, Arkham AND Eldritch horror, Terraforming Mars...and so on. Dude does bits...and does em well.
• There was debate about the bit trays that dropped in the geekstore about the same time as the last List went up (see comments on old post)...Nettersplays makes her own version out of felt (AND SHE DID IT FIRST). You might also recognize her from Dice Tower videos...so there's that.
• Like I said before - Trends...3D printing...This time we're switching gears to INSERTS WOOO! PrintNPlay3D has got you covered! This guys on the ball, as he has inserts for many new(er) games and most fit Expansions too! Truly, the hero we don't deserve.
• TTGamingSoulutions Is another 3D printing Tycoon... A bitmaker like BGHQ he has a few unique items I thought were neat, like the Individual Scythe Dials along with the DnD health dials. As a DM those really spoke to me!
• Last, but most certainly not least is LazerMeeple. No he's not a B-grade super hero from the 80's as his logo would imply....he's a guy that makes plywood inserts. I'm eyballing that Clank insert...I just can't decide if I have the movement to make it out for Christmas or not.

This is just a handful of shops I found some neat things in. Etsy is packed full of Boardgamers just like us. So head on over there and look browse around! I did NOT include my shop (unless it's ok... Mods let me know), Nor do I personally know any of these people. I simply want to shine a light on a different outlet for Giftgiving. I mean when the gamer we buy for literally has everything game...We have to get creative on what to get them next.

I'll end with the same paragraph as the last list - A). cause it's lunch time and I'm hungry - and B). I'm lazy.

Nothing on the list here is meant to be a "Centerpiece gift" most of this stuff is filler material at best. I hope this helps give some creative ideas to gift giving this year, and I wish all of you a Merry Christmas! Enjoy the season, spend it with family - friends - cat - dog? - fish? - Reddit? whoever it is, make it a great holiday.

I also encourage all of you to go out of your way to make someone else Christmas memorable. Lots of organizations accept donated gifts around the holidays, so next time your at the store, pick up a $10 something and donate it. You'll make some kids Christmas one to remember...and maybe. JUST maybe, you'll feel good about it :D
