Hey guys, I am Jason and my game design partner is Justin. Our first game just went live on Kickstarter today! I come from an 80’s influenced D&D background, but Justin (who is a lifetime gamer with over 200 games in his collection) introduced me to the REAL board game world about 8 years ago. Now a days that’s all I ever want to do with my free time. About 5 years ago we decided try our hand at making a game and landed on making a social card game for our first shot. We felt this style would capture one of the best aspect of game night; getting to laugh and have a great time with friends and family. It also gave us the opportunity to reflect our off-color sense of humor. Our goal was to create a game that even a drunk person could learn in about a minute, and to put the emphasis more on fun and laughs than on points (never fear type A’s, we do have a point system).
One Drunk Night... big throw back to 80’s choose-your-own-adventure books. It is a highly inappropriate social card game where players compete to help you craft your adventure. It is unpredictable, frequently crude, but also simple enough for anyone to learn. Please take a sec to check our Kickstarter or follow us on our Facebook page
We play tested quite a bit out at BBG-con and Dragoncon last year, and had a great response, but I’m really interested in what you guys think and how it will be received by serious gamers. Ask Me Anything!
p.s. /u/skeeterou is the guy who shot our video and has helped us a lot through the process. He will be here answering questions too!
