My wife and I are playing through the base set and are having a blast. It's something we can see ourselves playing for a long time to come.

So the first deluxe expansion, The Dunwich Legacy, is scheduled to be released very soon. And then there will be multiple smaller expansions for it. Are you expected to (or supposed to) start new characters with each deluxe expansion? Can you carry on your previous character with your current deck into each expansion? So, in essence, you could theoretically take the same characters through every expansion for years to come? Or are you supposed to start fresh with each deluxe expansion?

We're just kind of confused on what the norm is. If both ways are acceptable, I think it'd be a hard choice to either carry on with the same characters and decks that we've built up or try new characters.

Any other info on LCG's we might want to know?
