Hey guys, COMC!
The wife and I recently bought our first house and one of our search criteria was a dedicated space for a game room! Our house has a sun room in the back that was just the perfect size and it didn't take much persuading to convince the wife! We made a trip up to IKEA where I got two 2x4 Kallax that lay perfectly under the windows (I wish I would have got two more for the extra shelving). Sorry if you were disappointed seeing a "normal table" but I was thrilled with the find. A local antique shop has a large furniture section that I browse frequently and when I saw this one I jumped on it! I got it for a steal @$200! With the leafs in I think it measures 9', plenty of room for all those big box games..I'm looking at you Shadows of Brimstone!
My favorite game is easily Arcadia Quest. Looking forward to my Inferno and Masmorra pledge (that's why I wanted those other Kallax). The groups favorite game is Shadows of Brimstone. We're almost done with one of the core boxes and looking forward to the next! If your remotely interested in Shadows, it's a great game! Be sure to pick up some of the enemy packs and the frontier town expansion is a must.
The game I wish I played more: Heroscape. I have a mountain of the stuff, and it just doesn't see enough table time. I plan on changing that more this year. It used to be stored in the garage and it was "out of sight, out of mind."
I only have one Unplayed game: Agents of Smersh. To be fair, I just bought it a couple days ago ($20 NIS! What a deal!). Other than that, I've logged at least one play of each game!
Dunno what else to say...Feel free to ask any questions, make suggestions (not a big fan of the Euro scene yet...) Thanks for looking!
