A day of oldschool gaming. Civilization and Advanced Civilization in the same room.
Post Body

We actually could have had a third copy in play, but didn't have the people for it. I played the base game, as Illyria, and won after collecting every single card available.

If prices weren't ridiculous I'd own my own copy... As it stands I'm considering manufacturing a copy of Advanced Civ for myself unless there's any likelihood of it getting reprinted in the next few years.

Anyways, I highly recommend the game. If you can afford it, or know someone with a copy, it's a great way to spend a day.

It also is purportedly the origination point for the tech tree-a concept common to all modern gamers.
