Time to scry into your own crystal ball.
I think in 10 years most local game stores will be out of business, unless it's just the local business for a larger online retail store, like CoolStuff Inc.
I think the online trends/prices and difficulties for game stores is going to be too difficult for the smaller game stores to survive.
FLGS' will either evolve or get replaced by the game cafe/pub scene. And publishers will start selling demo/ding & dent/discount copies to these businesses.
Where do you see board gaming in 10 years? Whether yourself, your hobby, trends, mechanics or the industry?
