Hi friends. Avid game collector here who battles compulsive completionism. I have LOTS of empty expansion boxes that I haven't been able to bring myself to throw away, but the time has come that I need the space in my storage area that they are currently taking up. Based on many past posts on this sub, I understand that the strong majority opinion is to throw them out, and that's the direction I'm leaning, so please don't feel the need to comment below with that suggestion. However, before I do, I was just wondering if anyone has put their collection of expansion boxes to any interesting/creative uses that I might be able to draw inspiration from before I pitch the lot of them.
I've been telling myself for a while that I'd slice the covers off of the box and turn them into 2D wall art (probably with a cheap frame that I could 3D print), so that's one idea, but it also seems time consuming and I'm not sure if I'd even be happy with the aesthetic once I'm done.
TIA for any suggestions you can provide!
