I will be doing a video shoot of a concert soon; the cameras available to me are an OG BMPCC, a BMPCC 6K, and a Canon M50. I want to use all three, so that I can get as much variety in the shots as possible (I will have someone helping me film, and one camera will be stationary on a tripod). While matching the 2 Blackmagic cameras should be relatively easy, I am concerned as the Canon M50 does not have any sort of native log profile available to it. I will use DaVinci Resolve to edit; will selecting Rec .709 for the Canon color space in Color Space Transform be enough to get it close to the Blackmagic cameras?
Alternatively, I see that there are "flat" profiles that can be downloaded that are advertised as being very close, if not spot-on simulations of C-Log. One such profile is Filmkit Flat. Would using something like this help when trying to use Color Space Transform to try and match the cameras?
