Tips for a 23yr old fit male
Post Body

Hello everyone. As the title states, I’m 23yrs old and fit and workout 5-6 days a week. Not overweight in the slightest, but getting consistent readings of 140/150 over 90-95.

Met with a physician today, and they did an EKG and noticed a slight irregularity. Getting referred to a cardiologist, and they started me on the lowest dose (25mg) Losartan. How do I manage this so I don’t have a stroke / heart attack 10yrs from now?

I’ve cut back on caffiene, nicotine / vaping, tried to relax and even took a week off from the gym. I’ve heard water intake can effect blood pressure as well.

To elaborate a bit, I am recreationally taking some testosterone. Bodybuilding is the one thing I enjoy, but by no means am I a bodybuilder or do I look like one. I’m not big either, (6’4 190lbs). My father also had high blood pressure in his 30’s, and my brother as well.
