I have played BB for a few years now off and on and I had only beaten the game twice mostly because I would play through it and then drop it, then got the dlc played through it and dropped it again after finishing it. This time I decided it was time to go for the plat and whoooo boy did I have fun. I decided to go from my save file that beat the dlc and do everything in ng for my final hunts. I beat the chalice dungeons slowly and methodically crushing each opponent that stepped up to the plate struggling really only with Amygdala in the defiled chalice because ofc I did. I took a break and got one of the last trophies I needed in the main game (needed the messenger's gift). Then I knew it was time to get to the end of the main game. I fought my way to Mikolash and stopped after beating him. Mergo would be my final prey (the other story trophy I needed was to let Ghermin kill me. I fought through the chalices again finally beating amygdala and the others having no trouble at all. Finally I got to queen. It was go time! The first fight i died to rogue spear from a clone. I got her on the second try and then it was time to crush mergo's wet nurse. Beat in one try with only the run up killing me once. Then I awoke after letting Ghermin kill me. What a perfect end to the hunt!
