Anybody know a possible fix to a glitch? (boss name spoilers ahead)

So i am at the daughter of the cosmos, but the elevator is stuck at the bottom. the lever says "Device is not currently operable". I cannot proceed to this boss, and its bugging me. Anyone else experiencing this? any ideas for a fix? Im thinking i could possibly summon somebody into my game, where they're at the bottom of the elevator, and they can send it up
